Stunning views and a cozy stay

I recently enjoyed a lovely two-night stay in a Double Room with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, providing a delicious breakfast tailored to our dietary needs, including vegan options. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay, making it perfect for exploring the beautiful walking trails nearby. Castleton is just a short walk away with various shops and pubs, enhancing our experience. The only slight downside was the limited parking space, but it didn’t detract from our overall enjoyment.

    noise disturbance

excellent stay but minor noise issues

The room was spacious, decorated with fine touches, creating a cozy atmosphere. I appreciated the special touch of fresh flowers by the window. The nearby village trail through the farm was a stunning experience.

There were occasional noises from outside that slightly disturbed our sleep.

    Perfect getaway in the countryside

We had a lovely stay! The room was super cozy and the view was just amazing. Enjoyed some chocolates in the room and the breakfast was top-notch—those free-range eggs were a highlight! Just wish there was a bit more variety on the breakfast menu. Everything else was fantastic, especially the warm, friendly vibe!

    delicious breakfast
    cozy room

Dunscar Farm totally impressed me. The location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful hills. Just a short walk to Castleton made it easy to explore the charming village. My room offered breathtaking views of Mam Tor, a definite highlight. It felt cozy and clean, with all the essentials like tea, coffee, and complimentary biscuits at hand. The hosts are incredibly friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast exceeded my expectations. fresh, tasty ingredients made all the difference. The scrambled eggs were phenomenal! Only downside was the shower pressure, not very strong. this minor issue didn't overshadow the wonderful experience I had. Would absolutely return for more.

    great breakfast
    beautiful views
    weak showers
    steep stairs

dunscar farm was an amazin getaway! the hosts were super friendly and really helpful with local walkin tips. They even picked us up from the station! breakfast was top notch, def the best full english i’ve had. the room was really comfy and cozy. The view was so pretty! loved all the extra touches like water and biscuits in the room.

only two small issues, the showers could've been stronger and the stairs were a bit steep after a long day of walkin. but it didn't ruin our time at all.
